"For the last 15 years I've experienced chronic back pain, as well as other seemingly unrelated symptoms such as tingling, cold fingers, cold body, and dry throat (which was especially difficult as a voice teacher). I had been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia 3 years ago after undergoing a battery of tests for the above symptoms. After the tests my doctor told me my blood, hormones, EKG and stress test came out like those of a 27 year old (I was 40). I had been doing a lot of exercise for relief of the cold hands and feet with no results. I tried massage and muscle therapy and regular physical therapy with little change. Also, I took many muscle relaxants, but they did not help.
